The wait to find redemption for a disappointing trip to Thompson International Speedway in April is nearly over for NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour driver Rob Fuller.

Fuller, and his 15-40 Connection team, are looking to make their second start of the Whelen Modified Tour season in Saturday’s Town Fair Tire 100 on the 1.058-mile Loudon, N.H. oval.

Since a crash relegated him to a 28th place finish in the season opening Icebreaker 150 at Thompson on April 14, Fuller, of Boylston, Mass., has tested at both Thompson and New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

“The test went OK,” Fuller said. “We were not as fast in the first couple laps of a run but our lap times didn’t fall off like the others did. Believe it or not we are going to the track this weekend with a completely different setup from what we tested with. If it doesn’t work we have a decent setup that we used in 2011 that we will put on our 15-40 Connection Chevrolet.”
